I watched "The Three Stooges" and was pleasantly surprised...it was exactly what a modern Stooges movie should be & what one would expect it to be.
Given the fact that this is a Stooges movie, the plot is pretty simplistic and it's full of slapstick comedy. This movie does a good job with slapstick in the modern age. The 3 actors portraying the boys (Chris Diamantopoulos as Moe, Sean Hayes as Larry and Will Sasso as Curly) bear uncanny resemblances to the original trio and I believe Moe Howard, Larry Fine & Curly Howard would be proud of their performances.
I thought it was a funny movie that held very true to the original Stooges' shorts. The only thing missing (as a friend pointed out) was a good old-fashioned Stooges pie fight!
I liked this movie...6.5/10 stars
