Movie Review: "Jeff, Who Lives at Home" (2011)

"Jeff, Who Lives at Home" is a good movie that I really enjoyed watching. I'm a big fan of Seth Rogen & Ed Helms who play brothers in this movie (Rogen is Jeff & Helms plays Pat). And yet again, these 2 actors did not disappoint me. I am also a fan of Mark Duplass (from the fantasy football-themed TV show "The League") who along with his brother Jay wrote this movie.

Jeff is a slacker who still lives in his Mom's basement & Pat is his older brother who doesn't know how to be a husband. Their Mom is played by Susan Sarandon, who also gives a good acting performance. The ending of the movie brings all of the characters together somewhat serendipitously.

This is a warm, funny, quirky movie that is both acted & written very well. It ends in a realistic fashion, not in a fairy-tale sort of way, which adds to its genuineness.

Overall, I definitely liked this movie...7.0/10 stars
