I watched "My Week with Marilyn" & I really liked it. It is a well-made, well-acted, well-written movie. Kenneth Branagh's performance as an arrogant, self-centered, sometimes mean Laurence Olivier is excellent. And Eddie Redmayne's performance as Colin Clark is underrated as he does a nice job of portraying a star-stuck boy who shows genuine love & affection toward Marilyn.
But of course the stand-out performance is given by Michelle Williams as Marilyn. She captures Marilyn's innocence & loneliness perfectly. Her Oscar nomination was well-deserved.
Colin gets to live the dream of just about every man who was around in the 1950s. The look on his face when he first sees Marilyn naked is priceless!
I enjoyed this movie very much...7.5/10 stars
