Restaurant Review: Chadd's Pizza (Rochester, Michigan)

I am a big fan of Chadd's Bistro (Chadd's Bistro Review) so I had high expectations for Chadd's Pizza in Rochester, Michigan (just north of downtown on Main St. just north of Romeo Rd.). I was most definitely NOT disappointed!

Before I tore into my pizza, I sampled my cheese bread with pizza sauce and Ranch dressing.

The bread was cooked perfectly and the cheese was melted just right. The flavor of the bread was fantastic, but when I dipped it into the pizza sauce, it went to another level. This pizza sauce is awesome and some of the best I have ever had. It has just the right amount of garlic and whatever other spices are in it. The Ranch was just OK and actually not nearly as good as the Ranch at Chadd's Bistro. But the pizza sauce is amazing!

My first pizza from Chadd's Pizza was Chadd's Special (house made Italian sausage, green pepper, roma tomatoes, and fresh basil).

So yeah...This is a fantastic pizza! It was cooked to perfection as the crust was at the exact level of "crunchiness." It is obvious that nothing but fresh, quality ingredients are used as the tomatoes, basil, and peppers were so flavorful. And the sausage was top-notch. But just like I said with the bread, the pizza sauce is what sets this pizza apart from many others.

I know I will be going back to Chadd's Pizza many more times. Great job again, Chadd!
