Restaurant Review: Assaggi Bistro (Ferndale, Michigan)
I recently had dinner at Assaggi Bistro in Ferndale (it was my 2nd time there actually) and I definitely enjoyed it. Not only is the food good, the atmosphere is as well.
Their bread is pita-style & it came right out of the oven, so it was very fresh & tasty.
I started my dinner off with bowl of shrimp bisque soup which was very flavorful. For my entree, I had the Grilled Flatiron Steak which I had cooked medium rare & had a mild pesto sauce topping. The flank stank was very good & cooked to perfection. The steak came with a mound of trufflled pommes frittes which were awesome (I am a big fan of pomme frittes & love just saying "pomme frittes" out loud!).
The Assaggi Bistro is an excellent restaurant that I will definitely go back to. For more info, see their website at:
